Greetings from Week 19! I am almost halfway there and I think we have finally popped! The bulge is starting to happen and I have gone from just looking a little chubby to actually looking pregnant. Our little XP has done lots of growing now the size of a mango! In 2 short weeks it has grown almost a whole inch! And has gained 1.5 ounces! I am finding out all sorts of interesting things happening to my body... things are starting to get hard in my mid section and it is becoming more difficult for me to stretch, yawn and climb into bed -- I am also having some serious pains from my hip and pelvis area, so I will be making a trip next week to the chiropractor to see if she can start to relieve some of that pain. "They" say it will only get worse so I want to already start a good routine. I also found out a good friend of mine is pregnant as well so we have signed up for Prenatal Yoga classes together on Saturday mornings. It should be nice to have sometime to focus on stretching and making room for out little baby! My next appointment has actually be moved until after Thanksgiving! So everyone will have to wait until after the Holidays to find out the sex of our little XP!

Size of a Naval Orange
Continuing the march toward normal proportions, baby's legs now out-measure his arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably can't feel the movements just yet.
Thought I would share where we are in our process. It is fun to image our little XP as the size of an orange now. This has been a pretty rough week for me...maybe the baby has been squirming so much that is making me sick but for whatever reason the second trimester "honeymoon" period isn't happening for this mommy! I can't wait for the day when i don't feel sick and tired. We are heading to the doctor next week to listen more to the heartbeat and run more tests. Hopefully we will have more photos to share.

The Bean at 12 Weeks

We are so happy to show our little bean to the world. Or as my dad calls it "XP" X for no name and no sex and P for Polihronis. I have finally hit my second trimester and for the last 3 days I have started to feel like I am finally back to myself, I can stay up past 9PM and I can eat whatever I want without feeling bad. YEAH!!! Over the last 3 days all I have wanted is lots of orange I guess "XP" likes vitamin C. John has been so great - taking care of both of us. What a good dad he is going to make.
We got our new bedroom furniture and entertainment center. We have a beautiful King Size bed. Which will be perfect for the 3 of us. Rub-a-Dub-Dub :) It is so nice and comfy. A little high it comes up to my waist - should be pretty funny as I get bigger to watch me get up on the bed.
Keep watching for more posts!

The Future Polihronis
Thanks for checking out our Blog. We wanted a place to share all of the excitement of our future little bean with the people that mean the most to us. We found out we were pregnant and immediately were so excited. We couldn't wait to share the news with our friends and family. Our next doctors appointment is October 2nd. We can't to be done with the first trimester. I have been feeling really tired and a little quizzy at times. Most days are pretty good but some have been a little more difficult. But I have been told that I am lucky that I have been able to function for the most part.
Stay tuned for more photos and more thoughts!
